About TechieWeb.in
Honest tech advice for every Indian — from Kakinada to Kanyakumari.
My Story — Why I Started TechieWeb.in
It started the way it does for most tech enthusiasts in India — spending hours researching before every gadget purchase, being the go-to person for friends and family before they buy a phone, and slowly realising that most Indian tech advice online is either copy-pasted from global websites or written by people who have never actually carried that phone through a hot Andhra Pradesh afternoon.
I have personally visited phone and laptop shops across Kakinada, Vijayawada, and surrounding areas. I understand what an Indian buyer actually goes through — comparing prices between Flipkart, Amazon, and the local shop on Main Road, checking if a phone’s battery lasts through a long power cut, and figuring out whether a laptop will handle college software without breaking down before the semester ends.
That real-world, India-specific perspective is what TechieWeb.in is built on. No fluff. No paid promotions disguised as reviews. Just honest, practical advice from someone who genuinely cares about helping Indian users make the right choice.
“Our mission is to make technology simple, accessible, and affordable for every Indian — whether you are a student in a small town like Kakinada or a working professional in a metro city. Technology should work for you, not confuse you.”

How We Research and Review
Our review and research process is designed to give you the most useful, real-world information possible. Here is exactly how we approach every article on TechieWeb.in:
-
1Hands-on research first. Before writing any review or guide, I personally research the product — checking real user feedback from Indian buyers, visiting offline stores, and comparing prices across Amazon.in and Flipkart.
-
2India-specific testing criteria. I evaluate products on factors that matter specifically to Indian users — battery life during power cuts, camera performance in harsh Indian sunlight, performance on Jio and Airtel 4G/5G networks, and value for money at Indian price points.
-
3No paid recommendations. TechieWeb.in does not accept payment to write positive reviews. Some articles contain affiliate links — if you buy through them, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This never influences our recommendations.
-
4Regular updates. The tech market changes fast. I review and update articles regularly to make sure pricing, availability, and recommendations stay accurate and relevant.
-
5Simple language always. Every article is written in simple Indian English — no unnecessary jargon, no confusing tech specs without explanation. If my parents can understand it, it is ready to publish.
Transparency and Disclosure
Some articles on TechieWeb.in may contain affiliate links to Amazon India, Flipkart, or other Indian retailers. If you click a link and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission — at absolutely no extra cost to you. This helps us keep the website running and continue publishing free, honest content.
Our editorial recommendations are never influenced by affiliate partnerships, brand relationships, or sponsored content. We only recommend products we genuinely believe are worth your money. If we would not recommend it to our own family in Kakinada, it does not appear on TechieWeb.in.
